24 Posture Tai Chi:
This short form of Tai Chi will introduce the yielding and holistic approach to assist with balance, coordination, flexibility, leg strength, breathing, posture, chi flow and beginning martial application. Advanced students may work on the famous 'push hand/sticky hand' sensitivity training and martial application. It is a great warm up for our kung fu class that follows!
Yang Family Tai Chi:
Form, mechanics, energetics, and application. The Yang Family form is the most popular version of Tai Chi being practiced today. It is also longer and more complex then the 24. We practice the Yang Family for martial intent, with a focus on application and the combat side of Tai Chi Chuan. The health benefits are inherent with the training. We practice the 37 (64) posture form.
Both weekly Tai Chi classes are ongoing and recommended for beginner's of all age, background and experience!
Tai Chi will also introduce you to the more advanced internal arts of Bagua, Xing I, and more!
